There are stories that remind us exactly why our mission matters, and Eden Ram’s courage is one of them.

Eden served with the Home Front Command in Israel’s southern region. When terrorists infiltrated her base during the October attacks, she attempted to escape and was immediately shot. Moments later, terrorists stormed the command center, hitting her with multiple bullets in her legs, pelvis, arm, and shoulder.

Believing she was dead, they left.

Eden survived against all odds.

She lay wounded for nearly four hours before rescuers could reach her. She had been shot 12 times and arrived at the hospital in critical condition, yet she lived, and continues to fight through an extraordinary recovery.
