What a week it was!
First: We got Edan Alexander back!!! I was raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, where Edan is from, and seeing the outpouring of support from our town was truly monumental. I’ve had a picture of him in my room for over a year now, and even though Edan returned home, that picture will never come down — Edan is a hero to all of us, and a constant reminder to persevere in even the worst of circumstances.
Secondly, I had the privilege of spending time at the Belev Echad house in Kiryat Ono, where I saw the unbelievably amazing work they do for Israel’s wounded soldiers. I got a tour of their facility, which was truly astounding.
It warmed my heart to be met with such intense appreciation from Belev Echad in Israel, and I am beyond proud to know that I’m contributing towards such a beautiful and important cause.
Last but certainly not least, my cousin Niv got married!!
What an amazing experience it was — we danced all night, ate amazing food, and gathered together as Niv and Anita officially married.
In Israel, family comes first, and nothing is more joyous to a family than a big wedding!
I’ve included a bunch of pictures from my trip this week — please take a moment to look at how amazing our beloved country of Israel really is!
